The trip focused on a tour of the CBSA frontline operations which included an examination of the bulk cargo ports lead by CBSA Vessel Search Unit Superintendent Steve Johnson. During this tour Senator Kenny participated with the CBSA's Vessel search unit in their rummaging activities. The tour also included a stop at the CN Intermodal (Rail) yard in Surrey where they reviewed the methods in which rail shipments are processed.
